Brittany

Director of Accounting

Known for her attention to detail and stellar communication skills, Brittany is as dedicated to keeping Thornley & Knight clients happy as she is to the Chicago Bears! She believes in always acting with integrity and reliability, and can be counted on for a consistently positive attitude. Holding numerous degrees and academic honors, she’s also a full-time sports mom to her four children that she shares with fiance Ryan. When not beholden to state fund grant accounting, you can find Brittany relieving her stress digging in her backyard!

Becky

Senior Accounting Manager

Known for her attention to detail and calm, solutions-focused approach, Becky is a essential part of the Thornley & Knight team. She has a strong background in payroll, financial reporting, and systems management, and enjoys helping businesses simplify their accounting processes so they can stay organized and confident in their numbers. Becky excels at resolving discrepancies, improving workflows, and building practical systems that make financial management smoother for both clients and the team.

When she’s not keeping the numbers in order, Becky enjoys spending time with family and friends, getting outdoors, and finding ways to bring balance to everyday life. And one thing is certain—Becky is a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Through years of ups and downs (and plenty of nail-biting final two minutes), she remains loyal no matter what the season brings!

Kelli

Bookkeeping Assistant

Celebrated for her positive attitude and excellent communication skills, Kelli is an invaluable part of the Thornley & Knight team. For Kelli, anything and everything having to do with numbers is her passion! She excels at customer service and organization, and is always expanding her knowledge base. While not at work, Kelli enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her young family outdoors: she especially enjoys a good cup of coffee while reading her current favorite book!

Heather

Bookkeeper

Heather brings a wealth of experience in finance, client relations, and administration to our team. She has spent over 10 years cultivating her knowledge, expertise, and client engagement. With a diverse skill set and the adaptability to tackle any challenge, Heather is a valuable asset in any situation. Heather is a dedicated mom with three young children. She loves camping with her family and being outdoors. Homesteading and herbalism are special interests near to her heart!

Sarah

Assistant Bookkeeper

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz and has a background in the legal field. Known for her exceptional eye for detail, reliability, and trustworthiness, she brings a strong work ethic and dedication to every project.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband Matt and their three children. Their eldest is set to graduate college this year, their middle child is actively involved in high school musical theater, and their youngest, a second grader, is homeschooled. Together, they share a passion for traveling and exploring different parts of the world, embracing each opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of diverse cultures and experiences.

Nicole

Bookkeeper

With a robust background steeped in the heart of family-owned businesses, Nicole brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our team. Graduating from DePaul University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nicole seamlessly transitioned into the intricate facets of bookkeeping and accounting for over 15 years. Known for an unwavering attention to detail, she has cultivated lasting relationships with vendors and clients alike, fostering a culture of trust and reliability. Nicole finds solace and joy in the company of her two daughters. She is a fervent advocate for personal wellness that dedicates time to fitness and the outdoors. Nicole is also an avid traveler who delights in exploring new destinations and experiencing diverse cultures.
